Radically Rewriting The Rules

Our Story

Photos by Jorge Segura

In 2020, founders Marisa and Beatriz felt the collective rage of a generation demanding an end to systemic racism and inequitable workplaces. As we processed our own experiences of feeling silenced and powerless, we knew that the root of the violence was structural.

In that moment, it became clear that the work we had done of unlearning and motivating ourselves, was not enough. We needed to dismantle the outdated, white supremacist power structures that had been perpetuating pain and trauma generation after generation. We needed to start a revolution.

So we created Your Truth At Work, an agency built on the promise to radically transform work as we knew it.

With unwavering conviction, Your Truth At Work is on a mission to overthrow the white supremacist corporate cultures that have caused so much struggle and adversity. We envision a world where all people can heal their traumas, unlearn internalized oppression, and, ultimately, reach their fullest potential–free from systemic oppression and racist practices.

And we’re working to build that, one organization at a time.
